Bootcamp 4 – Get Full Visibility Of Your Business

The fourth in a series of four bootcamps to help you fully leverage all that Roll has to offer.

With Roll you can manage your entire business in one simple software application; From managing sales, projects and finances through to getting full visibility of how your business is performing. To help you get the most out of Roll we have created four Bootcamps:

  1. Manage your sales
  2. Manage your projects
  3. Manage your finances
  4. Get full visibility of your business

While there are obviously many advantages of having everything in one simple tool, one of the biggest ones is the visibility and insights you gain. And that’s what this bootcamp is all about. We will show you how Roll gives you full visibility of how you’re tracking, how your business is performing and what you should be focused on.

Overview:

  1. Get visibility of your financial performance
  2. Get visibility of lead sources
  3. Get visibility or your time
  4. Get visibility of how projects are tracking

.

1. Get visibility of your financial performance

This is a big one. Obviously, you want to know how your business is performing financially. How much you have in the pipeline, how much you’re expecting to invoice this month, how much work you and your team have completed, etc. You can find all of this and more on the Roll Dashboard. Simply click on the graph symbol in the top left menu to view your Dashboard.

2. Get visibility of lead sources

On your dashboard you can also see where your leads are coming from. When you enter a lead source for a new project, this area of your dashboard shows you the most valuable sources of leads so you know what marketing and sales activities to focus on.

3. Get visibility of your time

Time is money and it’s often the most valuable resources a business has. We know how important it is for you to know where you and your team are spending your time, how much time individual projects take and of course how much time has been invoiced and how much is still unbilled.

That’s why we created the Time Dashboard in Roll.

  • Click on the graph icon in the top left menu to go to your dashboard area
  • Select ‘Time’ from the left side options
  • Use the filters to view time for specific employees, projects or rates.
  • Switch between Week and Month views (click on the toggle next to ‘view by’ on the right side) and use the navigation arrows to view previous or upcoming weeks or months
  • The chart on the right shows you how much of the tracked time has been billed and how much is still unbilled.

4. Get visibility of how projects are tracking

In addition to getting overall visibility of how your business is performing, Roll also helps you get more visibility on how individual projects are tracking. That way you know which projects are on track and which might need a bit of extra attention.
